Color guides
The classic color questions, answered with arithmetic instead of adjectives: what colors make brown, purple, green or orange, what colors go with them, plus recipe-style guides for frosting, icing and gel-color charts. Every swatch is computed with its HEX code — no photographed approximations — alongside the practical facts (ratios, drop counts, rest times) that make the color land.

How these are built
Each swatch is a perceptual (Oklab) blend computed from the actual recipe: base frosting or paint plus gel or pigment at the stated amount. That is why two guides can promise the same "brown" and show honestly different results. Want to run your own numbers? The color mixer does the same arithmetic live, and the color mixes directory covers the classic two-color questions.
